Dear Charlotte, Our prayers are with you and your family at this time. I enjoyed reading about your days of riding with John. I hope memories like this will help you through the tough days ahead. his is where we need to remember Jesus' promises of always being with us and of the resurrection of all the dead at the last day. I don't get to as many of the Larsen reunions as you do,but I remember all the coats your mom used to send my mom for us kids, Gracie, Johnnie, and me to wear. Thanks! I know they were yours. Dear Char and family, we are saddened to hear of John's passing. I remember John from my visits to your parents home back in the 50s with Grandma Larsen. I always thought he was such a neat guy. I'm sorry that I didn't have more time to visit with you last summer. We know he is at home with the Lord, and has no more suffering, but there is a big hole in your heart and life. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Remember all of the fun times that you shared together.Tell your kids about them! Most of them anyway! May you know the presence of our Lord,and His peace. Dear Charlotte and family: I am so sorry to read of John's death. I am in Arizona with my girls and will be unable to give you my sympathy in person. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Marilyn Krueger

On behalf of John's pool-playing friend, Jim Hermsen, we extend our condolences to the family. John Ihde was so kind in "watching over" our dad when he would miss pool for doctor appointments. John would stop by the house after dad's appointments to be sure everything was OK. I called John to update him on dad's progress when he moved to my house in Green Bay in the final month of his life. Unfortunately, I was unaware of John's illness at the time. We wish his family well.
